Gerda was an artist. Her husband was her most beautiful model. A model named Lili. This is the story of a couple who loved life. Gerda illustrated for the best fashion magazines in Paris and Lili was her muse. Gerda and Lili were the toast of the town. Life was painting and parties and they embraced it all.
This is a love story that transcends physical identity.
In 1930, with Gerda’s support, Lili underwent the first known gender reassignment surgery. This is the story of a Model Woman.
