Returning for an Auckland season An Unfortunate Willingness to Agree is dance of a different nature. Politically-charged, yet highly personal, three impassioned performers deal with senses of anger and agitation, apathy and alienation that they see in their present world. Created originally in early 2012 against a backdrop of global disquiet such as Occupy, Tea Party, the Arab Spring, austerity riots and the Euro crisis, An Unfortunate Willingness to Agree has been reworked with a year's events and experience to draw from. Ultimately, this work speaks of the dissatisfaction of a young generation and its desire for something much more human and honest.
