A growing dread is forming in our sector as we face major budget cuts due to declining lottery funds - we feel it’s time to come together to rethink how we value the arts in NZ.
Join us for a Bingo Night at Basement Theatre hosted by Jeremy Corbett and featuring a line-up of speakers and bingo callers from stage, screen and behind-the-scenes.
We want you to help us lead the call for more secure investment from government ahead of the Budget 2016 announcement this 26 May.
The Minister for Arts, Culture & Heritage may be content to cross her fingers and hope that “the balls might just roll our way”, but we don’t think the arts should be a lottery.
Tickets $5 on the door, please reserve your seat through Eventbrite using the ticketing link above.
(Note: All money raised goes directly towards costs associated with the event and the creation of campaign material).
