On your marks, get set KABOOM! The Disaster Brothers are in town with a dangerously delirious, frantically fast paced, traveling family circus show.

The Disaster Brothers cause chaos everywhere they go! Their clumsiness always gets them in trouble. A ruthless and angry ringmaster patrols the circus looking for excuses to chuck the brothers out of the failing circus for good. A beautiful ballerina pirouettes across the stage, wafting the scent of roses over the audience. Re-mixed classical music, popcorn and uncontrollable giggles, The Disaster Brothers desperately try and save the circus.

Straight from a sell out season in the Kidsfest festival in Christchurch The Disaster Brothers is a physical, slapstick, and vaudevillian piece of children’s theatre not to be missed!

Featuring Chris Parker (TV2’s Girl vs. Boy, The Basement’s Snort) and Tom Eason (Red Leap’s Sea, Breath of the volcano, Auckland Arts Festival), and devised by Chris, Tom and Holly Chappell of Two Productions.

“I liked the show because it was crazy” –Sarah, aged 6.

Two Productions was founded in 2012 with the aim to work with a diversity of practitioners creating theatre for a wide range of audiences. They strive to make new Aotearoa based work that encourages audiences to question their world and actively change their community. Since then it has staged six original works in four major New Zealand cities. In each project Holly Chappell and Tom Eason, the co-artistic directors invite a different company to create a show. Sometimes professional, sometimes interning students and sometimes youth performers.
