Mistranslation Laboratory

Two fallible, dreamy and untrustworthy “choreographic scientists” are preparing a buffet of experiments.

Two fallible, dreamy and untrustworthy “choreographic scientists” are preparing a buffet of experiments. Audiences (limited to 10 people at a time), may contribute to the structure and dynamic of this dance/theatre/art installation, which has elements of set choreography, theatre, scored improvisation, art installation and participatory art. From a menu of ten works, you will collaboratively choose three pieces. One Demonstration, one Interactive Workshop Task, and one Experiment in Documenting Intangible Things will form the core material of each performance.

When our wee theatre is at rest an ongoing installation will accumulate throughout the Fringe.

Mistranslation Laboratory is a free, open community event with 4-6 thirty-minute performances over the day/evening.
