Why become a Basement Mate

Merch!

All Basement Mates get the iconic Basement stoop on a keyring. When you visit Basement, flashing your Stoop Keyring will get you special prices on tickets and drinks at the bar.

Goss!

We’ll share the goss with you about what’s going on when the roller door is down. You’ll receive a monthly newsletter, and we’ll add you to our Close Friends on Instagram. You’ll hear what we’re dreaming, scheming, seeing, vibing and sensing - we’ll be your inside eye into the independent arts scene.

Community!

A drop-in at Basement will become a regular thing for you. You’ll get exclusive invites to special events and parties, curated for Mates and our artist community. No two nights are the same at the Basement bar, so pull up, grab a discount bevvy and connect with the folks who get it.

To Support Basement!

You know that there is no thing as an “overnight success” - you’ve supported the underground from the start. Your membership helps Basement keep supporting Tāmaki’s independent artists for a long time to come.

How does it work

You can sign up for a monthly subscription or go all in with a yearly subscription.

There are three tiers; each tier has slightly more benefits than the last:
