Unseen Unsaid: Art & Protest

Show Info

Unseen Unsaid is a series of public conversations curated and produced by Basement Theatre that encourages difficult conversation to happen in a safe environment. Each conversation brings together leading thinkers from various backgrounds in Auckland City to excavate new thinking in the fields of art, life and politics.

UNSEEN UNSAID: ART & PROTEST

What does it mean to gather in dissent? What does it look like, why do you do it and how far can you take it?

Basement Theatre’s programmer Nisha Madhan brings together a panel of speakers to gently tread the lines between art and activism. Whether it looks like thousands rallying to abolish the police, or a simple share of the definition of white privilege on social media, it seems like protests are either a click away or right at your doorstep.
