Black Creatives Aotearoa Makers Wiki: No Drama

Show Info

Makers Week is going out with a bang, and you need to be there!

After a week of creativity, connection, and pure magic, we’re closing it out the only way we know how, on the dance floor!

Join us on Saturday, 12 April, from 9PM - 10PM for BCA Makers Wiki/No Drama, where @DJCALLMEAK will be on the decks, bringing the heat and keeping the vibes high.

Let's celebrate everything we’ve created together in the week. Come through, move with us, and let’s make this a night to remember!

BCA MAKER WIKI

Bought to you by Black Creatives Aotearoa and the Basement Theatre, ‘BCA Makers Wiki’ is a series of activations in our space to bring together African/Black and diaspora artists & practitioners for a week of intimate workshops that celebrate  all facets of creative expression.

This EOI does not guarantee you a spot as we have limited capacity. We will contact you via email by Friday, 5 April to let you know the outcome of your EOI, a waitlist will be active for all workshops. If you are unable to make the workshop(s) you express interest in, please let us know ASAP so we can offer the place to someone else.

All workshops will be starting at 6:00pm in the studio space with some kai and whakawhanaugatanga and will commence formally from 6.30-7.30pm. Then if you haven't already head downstairs to the main space to catch Theo Shakes show, 'The Play That Gets Louder' proudly presented by Black Creatives Aotearoa and Booth Box Banter in the main space running parallel to these workshops.

Please then join us for a kanikani on Saturday, 12 April for our BCA Makers Wiki No Drama w/ DJCALLMEAK following our closing from 5pm-6:30pm.
