Is This All That You Had In Mind? is an absurdist exploration of the innate human desire for satisfaction. It’s time to make peace with your inner demons - hell, even make friends with them!
A story told through a few extremely flawed, ultimately unlikeable, and yet comedic characters. Explore the innate human desire for satisfaction through a personification of that desire - Levi.
Levi spends his life working to dissatisfy everyone who crosses his path - whether that’s through their relationships, work life or even their sense of self.
Four friends create a (seriously not well thought out) plan to try and get Levi to leave them alone for good - using one person who’s never been dissatisfied in her life. But, predictably, not a single thing goes right.
Extreme, hilarious & wildly unconventional, Is This All That You Had In Mind? Is bringing absurdism back to the Auckland theatre scene - one gimp suit at a time.
Theatre is here to stay - but this isn’t your grandma's theatre. We want to see what others don’t. In fact, we exclusively want to see that. We’re here to birth a whole new theatre form right here in Tamaki Makaurau - based off of the genres of absurdism and in-your-face theatre, our pieces are raw, funny, and (most importantly) weird.
