Poster Templates
Each season at Basement has a different poster template with different seasonal colours and designs.
To get started, please download and read the Poster Template Guidelines. These guidelines will tell you how to use the template including what colours and fonts to use.
If you haven't already, download the Founders Grotesk font package to your computer. You'll need this when using the template.
Next, download the template that corresponds to the season you have been programmed into. These templates require Adobe InDesign to use.
If you don't have Adobe InDesign, these templates are also available to edit on Adobe Express, a free program very similar to Canva.
Winter & Matariki A2 Poster Adobe Express Template
If you haven't used Adobe Express before, watch this walk-through of how to edit the template using Adobe Express.
Winter & Matariki 2025 is the first season we have the Adobe Express Template available, so if you have any questions or come across any hiccups, please get in contact with Nicola and she can help troubleshoot.
Once you've completed your poster design, send it to Nicola for sign-off.
Make sure you have carefully proofed it, check that the dates are correct and that you’ve allowed at least 48 hours for Basement to feedback and edits to be implemented.
If you are a Hire For Nothing artist, when you're ready to send the final A2 to Basement's Marketing & Relationships Manager for printing, make sure you export it in CMYK and include printer marks crop and bleed.
